How to Find Porta Bella – 425 N. Frances Street
Located in the heart of the University of Wisconsin – Madison campus. Just one block south of the popular shopping & fine dining district of State Street – and 2-1/2 north of the KOHL Center, we are conveniently located for easy access for your dining & events. The Madison public parking ramp across the street, along with street side parking allow for easy accessibility even for the handicap.

From Janesville, Rockford and Chicago: Take I-90 West to the 12 & 18 West exit. Go west until the Park St exit. At the bottom of the ramp, make a right turn. Proceed on Park St to W. Johnson St. Make a right hand turn on to Johnson and immediately get into the left hand lane. 2 blocks down make a left hand turn on to Frances St. Go 1-1/2 blocks towards State St. Porta Bella is on the right and the parking ramp on the left.

From Milwaukee, South Eastern Wisconsin: Take I-94 West to the 151 South exit
(E. Washington Ave.) Go to East Johnson St., make a right hand turn. Johnson St. will turn into Gorham St. and then into University Ave. Stay on this street in the right hand lane. After you have crossed State St., go to the first stop light and turn right on to Frances St. Porta Bella is halfway up on the right side and the parking ramp
on the left.

From DeForest and Hwy 51: Take Hwy 51 South to East Washington Ave. (Hwy 151). Make a right hand turn on to East Washington. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right on to Johnson St. Johnson St. will turn into Gorham St. and then into University Ave. Stay on this street in the right hand lane. After you have crossed State St., go to the first stop light and turn right on to Frances St. Porta Bella is halfway up on the right and the parking ramp on the left.

From Wisconsin Dells via I-94 East: Take the Hwy 151 South exit (E. Washington Ave.) to East Johnson St. Turn right on Johnson St. Johnson St. will turn into Gorham St. and then into University Ave. Stay on this street in the right hand lane.
