


A.
Reservations 1. If you wish to have one of the rooms reserved (20-35
guests), there will be a $ 50.00 room charge. However the rest of the wine
cellar will be open to the public. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit will
be needed when the reservation is made. The deposit will be applied towards
your bill. 2. If you wish to close the cellar to the public, there will
be a $100.00 room charge. You must guarantee sales of $500 for the first
hour and $100 for each additional hour. A $ 350.00 deposit will
be required upon reservation. The deposit will be applied towards your
bill. Once the reservation is made, the deposit and reservation
request form (page 2) must be received within 7 days to guarantee the
reservation. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. 3.The above
charges apply to reservations made on Thursday through Saturday. The Cellar
is typically closed Sunday through Wednesday. You may reserve the Cellar on
one of these days. You will be required to guarantee food and beverage sales
of $ 300.00. The room charge ($50.00) will be waived on Sunday through Wednesday
reservations if you spend more than $ 400.00 in food and beverages. 4.
Two weeks prior to your event, the banquet contract with menu and bar selections
must be turned into the banquet manager. We will require your guarantee of
the number of guests attending. It is not possible
to lower the guarantee after this, however the guarantee may be increased
after this time. If a guarantee is not submitted, the initial number indicated
on the contract will be considered correct. Food quantities will be locked
in at that time. You will be charged for the amount guaranteed. The banquet
manager will determine the amount due and inform you of the amount due.
B.
Menu selections 1. Appetizer menu choices are limited to a maximum
of 8 selections from wine cellar appetizer menu. When planning your appetizer
menu, you should allow for 8-10 pieces of appetizers per person. 2. Single
entrée selections
are strongly recommended. For buffets, menu choices are limited to a maximum
of 2 selections from the buffet menu or pasta bar. Menu choices include choice
of salad, bread and butter. The higher of the entrée prices will be
charged if you choose 2 selections. 3. For sit
down dinners, you may select up to 4 selections from the dinner or pasta
bar menu. We will print up a separate menu for your guests. Menu choices
include salad, bread and butter. Let the banquet manager know which salad
you would prefer. 4. The banquet manager can assist you in your wine and
beer selection. We will be happy to feature specific wines or beer for you.
5. All food and beverage must be purchased through the restaurant with the
exception of cakes made by a licensed facility. There will be a $.50/guest
plating charge on cakes brought in. 6.
All prices are subjected to an 18% gratuity; a 5.5% sales tax is then added
to the total amount. 7. All prices are subjected to an 18% gratuity. Wisconsin
law requires that a 5.5% sales tax be added to the total amount of the bill
including service charges.
Porta Bella Wine Cellar Banquet Policies Thank you for considering Porta Bella’s Wine Cellar for your party function. In order to provide you with excellent quality of food and service, we have established the following guidelines. These can also be viewed on the PDF printable menu (below).
C. Beverage options. 1.
Cash bar–includes house brands, call liquors and top shelf brands,
wines, imported and domestic beers and soft drinks. Guests pay for their
own drinks. There is a $ 25.00 per hour gratuity on cash bars. Minimum of
2 hours. 2. Featured wines and beer – Host will provide a selection
of wine or beer to be paid for by the host. An 18% service charge and will
be add to the bill. All other drinks will be treated as a cash bar. 3. Host
sponsored – All drinks will be put on a tab that will be paid
for by the host at the end of the event. At the beginning of the event, please
provide a credit card for the bar charges. A) We recommend that drink tickets
be used as a means of controlling your costs. B) An 18% service charge will
also be applied. The hourly gratuity will be waived. 4. The person hosting
the function is ultimately responsible for any underage or excessive drinking
and the resulting damages or fines. Porta Bella’s
enforces Wisconsin State Law that you must be 21 to drink. Porta
Bella will not serve anyone under the age of 21 even if accompanied by a
legal guardian. Porta Bella will be checking ID’s. 5. We offer
a complete selection of beverages for your function. It is our policy that
all beverages must be purchased from the restaurant. 6. Non-alcoholic beverages
(coffee, tea and soft drinks) are available for $ 1.75/person. Refills are
free.
D. Payments and charges 1. Deposits are to be paid when
the reservation is booked. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. 2. All menu prices
are subject to change. Prices will be locked in 30 days prior to the event.
14 days prior to the event, menu selections and prices will be locked in
and contract must be signed and sent back to the restaurant. 3. Full
payment must be made 14 days prior to event. 4. Additional charges
incurred on the day of the event (i.e., host sponsored bar) are due and payable
on the day of the event. At the beginning of the event, please provide a
charge card for the additional charges. 5. Groups requesting state exemptions
must submit a copy of their tax exemption certificate along with the banquet
contract.
E. Miscellaneous 1. The banquet manager prior to
the event must approve affixing anything to the walls or ceilings. 2. Linen
service is available at an additional cost. 3. The restaurant reserves the
right to charge a service fee for setup with extraordinary requirements.
4. Porta Bella assumes no responsibility for the damage, loss or theft of
merchandise or articles left in the wine cellar prior to, during or after
a function. 5. By signature, the guest acknowledges and accepts the above
